The 7x7x7x7 Writing Prompt :

Grab the 7th book from your bookshelf. Open it up to page 7. Pinpoint the 7th sentence on the page. Begin a poem that begins with that sentence and limit it in length to 7 lines.

The seventh book on my bookshelf happened to be Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch. The seventh sentence on the seventh page turned out to be short. I heaved a sigh of relief and hauled it out of its bracket.

Because some people are willing to actually listen

It is time for the sun to rise

To open the doors of your being

And let its warmth thaw

Your loneliness chilled heart

Let life flow in joyous warbles

And your voice be heard again.
